New East Campus residents enjoy life at Carolina Meadows

Author: Carolina Meadows

Most of the people moving into the new East Campus homes come from the local area, where they have lived for many years. Their long-time homes were very dear to the hearts of their owners. The town of Chapel Hill was itself very important in their lives. The new villas at Carolina Meadows provided the opportunity to remain in gracious homes in the Chapel Hill area. As these prospective residents learned more, the unique Equity Advantage plan, paired with the continuing care concept, increased their enthusiasm.

The four new residents interviewed for this article were very happy with their new homes, the friendliness of both new and old residents, the dining, the staff, and activities and amenities. They speak in glowing terms and are obviously delighted.

Though the construction fell a little behind schedule, not one person interviewed complained. Uniformly they spoke of the excellent workmanship, the helpful and pleasant workers, and that they had been kept informed. Now that they are in their new villas, they mention the delicious food and well-appointed dining room. A favorite activity is dining with friends new and old.

One new resident described the experience as a “whole new beginning — that is very invigorating.”
