Community Outreach

Giving back by getting involved.

Committed to Our Community

Our mission is to enrich and improve the lives of residents and those connected to our community. Carolina Meadows takes an active role in our broader community through the energy and commitment of our residents, employees and corporation.

Supporting the Performing Arts We have built meaningful relationships within the arts community in North Carolina. We support Carolina Performing Arts, Carolina Ballet, North Carolina Symphony, PlayMakers Repertory Company and the North Carolina Museum of Art through our patronage, sponsorships and ad placements.
Education Our support for education includes contributions to Carolina Public Humanities, mentoring in local schools and on-site tutoring for citizenship, literacy and English as a Second Language.
Partnering with CORA Food Pantry Our annual fundraiser and food drive, done in collaboration with CORA Food Pantry in Chatham County, support hunger prevention in local communities.
Public Television Partnership Carolina Meadows residents have made significant contributions to UNC-TV for many years. Our enthusiastic support is showcased each year by a month-long, on-campus program in which we develop and execute themes to boost proceeds from UNC-TV’s annual fundraiser.
“As a not-for-profit organization, Carolina Meadows is committed to providing support and leadership to enhance life for older adults in our community and beyond.” Kevin McLeod
